Glass factory CRYSTAL GLAMOUR, a.s. keeps the traditional production 24% lead crystal, designated for hand cutting.
The meltage in modern whole-electric two-pans glass furnace dates to 1994. The founders of the of company in year 1991 and the glass-works are businessman Jaroslav Noha and glass master of handcraft Zdeněk Koťara, who gained years of expiriences in glass-works of Czech and Moravian highlands - in Josefodol (today Caesar Crystal Bohemiae), in Dobronín, in Antonínův Důl and also in austrian glass factory in Alt Nagelberg town. He started out in Okrouhlice together with other glass masters Leopold Dejmal, Karel Bačkovský, Zdeněk Bachura and Pavel Zelenka. They all learned the glass craft at the glass school in Světlá nad Sázavou and gradually gained experinece in czech, german and austrian glass factories. The company's name was Glass-Rubs s.r.o. until 2006 and after the investment from Pavel Satoránský in 2007, the glass factory became company stock under the name CRYSTAL GLAMOUR.
